Hello, my name is Mrs. Mary-Kate Anderson, and I am super excited to be taking on a new role at St. Joseph School, Teacher of Seventh and Eighth Grade Math and Science. Many of your kids will remember me as the pizza mom at the Snoqualmie campus. My daughter Natalie (8th grade) and son Luke (6th grade) are also part of the St. Joseph community. I graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Political Science and with a concentration in Mathematics. I then went on to receive my Maters of Education from Marymount University. I have taught in a variety of schools and states over the years. While I mainly grew up in northern Virginia just outside Washington D.C., my husband and I have lived in New York City, Chicago, Il, Shaker Heights, OH and have called Issaquah home for the last 14 years. The St. Joseph philosophy of teaching the whole child appeals directly to my belief that academics is just one part of who we are as students. I look forward to seeing everyone in September.
